About Us
Holy Redeemer Nursery School is a warm, loving place where children are allowed to grow and develop at their own rate. For more than thirty years, the school has provided a well-balanced program that develops the whole-child through experiences that stimulate them socially, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Filled with large, bright spaces and articulate, positive teachers the school is located on the ground-floor of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. While the school follows the strict volunteer screening requirements of the Archdiocese of Washington, the weekly Bible lessons and other Christian references are non- denominational.
Most of the programs are partially cooperative, meaning that parents are required to occasionally volunteer in their child’s classroom, participating either once or twice a month. A non-cooperative option is available in the afternoons. Each family is also assigned nominal work on projects a few times a year.
All programs are partial-day, with either morning or afternoon sessions. A two-hour extended day is available which precedes the afternoon session or follows the morning one, based on space. |
